Details of Some Published Works

These Twenty-nine books selected for detailed analysis of relate to each of the Five Areas of Specialisation which are briefly outlined in the opening pages. While describing those books below, we have reproduced ‘Preface’ of each of those books and ‘Forewords’ wherever they are available. In fact, ‘Forewords’ are there for eight books only-for two from prof. Jan Tinbergen, the First Nobel Laureate in Economics, for three by Prof. Paul A Samuelson, the first American Nobel Laureate, for one by prof. M. S. Swaminathan, the reputed Agricultural Scientist and for two others by Ministers of Karnataka State, who were close with Dr K. Puttaswamaiah during his service as Head of the Planning and Rural Developments. These Ministers were in charge of Planning and Rural Development also. Rest of all the works have been published with Preface only.They provide the scope, objectives and The gist of them, also explain how they are received by reviews.
